Ovādapātimokkhādipātho
A Summary of The Teachings of All Buddhas
Arahanta, Samma-Sambuddha, The Holy One, The Omniscient One,
The Great One, have said about Ovada-Patimokkha
such as three verse that:
Patience is the highest pracrice of Dhamma.
Buddha Said: Nibbana is the highest one.
If someone have became bhikhhu but still hurt, harm others;
so the truth is he is not a samana.
Not to make evil actions, Adding virtues,
pure heart and mind: This is Buddha’s Teaching.
Not insult, Not hurt,
Control yourself aligned with Patimokkha,
Eat sufficiently, Not too much,
Live in silent place, Have effort to practice Samadhi:
This is Buddha’s Teaching.
Arahanta, Samma-Sambuddha, The Holy One, The Omniscient One,
The Great One, With a good way have talked about Sila, Samadhi and Panna.
How did The Buddha talk about that precepts (Sila)?
Buddha have talked goodly about the practice of Sila,
that there is a basic practice level (Hetthimena).
The Blessed One also have talked goodly about the practice of Sila,
that there is higher practice level (Uparimena). How is the practice of Sila as a basic practice level?
Bhagava Said: “He is a noble student ( Ariya-Savako) who :
1) Avoid killing Living-beings.
2) Avoid taking things that not given.
3) Avoid sexual misconduct.
4) Avoid lying, Scandal, rude words and bullshit.
5) Avoid Alcoholic food and beverages cause decrease the consciousness.”
Thus the pratice of Sila as a basic practice level that have been taught by The Blessed One.
How is about the practice of Sila as a higher practice level?
Bhagava Said: “He is a Bhikkhu who practice Sila goodly, If he control himself aligned with Patimokkha,
being polite, fear to make a mistake even small,
have effort to obey the rules as good as possible”
Thus the practice of Sila as a higher practice level, that have been taught by The Blessed One.
How did The Buddha talk about that Samadhi?
Buddha have talked goodly about the practice of Samadhi,
that there is a basic practice level (Hetthimena).
The Blessed One also have talked goodly about the practice of Samadhi,
that there is higher practice level (Uparimena).
How is the practice of Samadhi as a basic practice level?
Bhagava Said: “He is a Ariya-Savako if he is able
to keep away the defilement (Kilesa) from mind,
then be able to attain consentration and sole mind.”
Thus the practice of Samadhi as a basic practice level that have been taught by The Blessed One.
How is about the practice of Samadhi as a higher practice level?
Bhagava Said: “Thus he(bhikkhus) away himself from sensual desire, and silence in first Jhana,
such as joyful state of mind (piti) and happy (Sukha), which still with vitakka (directing mind to object) and Vicara (effort to state mind on object).
Then after release from Vitakka and Vicara,
He entered and silence in Second Jhana,
such as Joyful state of mind and happy, without Vitakka and Vicara.
After that in balance state of mind together with pure and clear concern,
his body covered with happy feeling spoken by Ariya as ‘hapiness for who has a balance heart and mindfulness”
and he entered and silence in Third Jhana.
Then after get rid of happy feeling, remove joyful feeling and not happy
with what had been felt before, he entered and silence in Fourth Jhana,
that there is a really balance condition, have a mindfulness (Sati-Parisuddhi),
free from happy feeling and not happy.”
Thus the practice of Samadhi as a higher practice level that have been taught by The Blessed One.
How did The Buddha talk about that Consciousness (Panna)?
Buddha have talked goodly about the practice of Panna,
that there is a basic practice level (Hetthimena).
The Blessed One also have talked goodly about the practice of Panna,
that there is higher practice level (Uparimena).
How is about the practice of Panna as a basic practice level?
Bhagava Said: “Thus Ariya-Savako has Panna,
If He understood there is suffer(Dukkha) and causes,
if he understood there is the end of dukkha and way to lead into the end of dukkha.”
Thus the practice of Panna as a basic practice level that have been taught by The Blessed One.
How is about the practice of Panna as a higher practice level?
Bhagava Said: “A Bhikkhu knows the way it is: This is Dukkha;
He knows the way it is: This is causes of Dukkha(Dukkha-Samudaya);
He knows the way it is: This is the end of Dukkha(Dukkha-Nirodha);
He knows the way it is: This is the way to lead into the end of dukkha (Dukkha-Nirodha-Gamini-Patipada).”
Thus the practice of Panna as a higher practice level that have been taught by The Blessed One.
Based on Precepts(Sila) that have been advanced nicely,
so samadhi will give big merit and advantages.

Based on Panna that have been advanced nicely,
so Mind (Citta) will be free from smudge,
there is sensual smudge(Kamasava), materialization smudge (Bhavasava) and ignorance smudge (Avijjasava).
When approach Parinibbana, Bhagava Said as a last message:
“Now, Bhikkhus, I tell you that ‘everything formed (Sankhara) is impermanent.’
Because of that strive with sincerity to free yourself.”
Then Bhagava said: “Bhikkhus, whatever all foot from any kind of being can enter in elephant’s foot because of its huge,
so thus,”Bhikkhus, all of merits all comes from awareness (care); caused of care.
Because care is the first thing between other things,
so you should practice it nicely.”
Bhikkhus replied: “We will try to practice Adhi-Sila, Adhi-Citta, Adhi-Panna attentively.
We will obey and practice sincerely.”
